• Battery Replaceability: Yes, the batteries are replaceable. This requires deconstructing and reconstructing the LED component, which can be done by anyone with basic soldering knowledge.
• Air Transportation Precautions: The primary consideration is that these contain built-in lithium batteries.
Durability: No LED baton is designed to be dropped, but these are built to as reliably durable as possible for performance use only. The LED end can be easily replaced if it is damaged. The ends can be completely removed from the handle (by removing one nut and bolt) and can actually be used as poi balls.
LED colors are limited to white and yellow. The technology is basic but the design is intentionally focused on the handle, to feel much to a traditional fire knife while costing less than half of comparable products.
This product is made for indoor performances that won’t allow fire or for performers who are not ready to handle fire.
We don’t recommend using them for practicing Siva Afi because the product is not cheap and are not made of products as durable as a standard fire knife.
